Getting your Veggies? Why I Like Lettuce!

As you might know, part of eating healthy is eating a varied diet. There seem to be six food groups in the food pyramid (adopted by the USDA) as follows:

Carbohydrates: 6-11 servings
Vegetables: 3-5 servings
Fruits: 2-3 servings
Dairy: 2-3 servings
Protein: 2-3 servings
Fat: use sparingly
