Hi Diane! Yep I think weighing in on a set time will be easier. The runs are a little too long because I don't seem to fit much else in during an evening. Thanks!

Hi Dr. J! Running in the morning is the way to go. I start work at 6:30 so that would be too early for me though. You are absolutely right about the biggest weight loss should be from diet. I guess I was looking for any "edge" I could find. I'm back to 30 minutes of bag work for a while. I ended up wrapping my right hand so I would not re-injure it. :)

Hey John!

As in many things, I'm a bit of a contrarian :-) Since I run in the mornings, I tend to hydrate the night before. I drink very little before running, just some coffee. Very rarely on very hot days I have had some during a run, but not too often. I also want to respectfully add that for weight loss, please try to do most of it with how you eat. I am all about exercise, but I am maintaining my weight. It's very hard to lose with primarily exercise, and way to easy to get injured.

This is a really great post, and I have to confess that I'm a lot like you are. I'm not a big water drinker during my exercise time. Of course I'm not running for two hours - but even so. I think even with a weight "bump" from weighing at a different time of the day you will be getting a more consistent picture of your weight loss day to day or week to week!

The pictures are amazing. The terrain is so different than what I see where I am - which is pretty much the middle of nowhere!

Keep up your amazing work!
