This is the burning question for so many people. Younger (my guess) people will listen to a commercial and make an emotional choice for a diet plan. But in this video, the guy compares two popular diet plans, not for effectiveness but price per pound!
Kirstie Alley is such a babe! – don’t you think?
This is a man after my own heart! But I think the question is wrong... the correct question should be what diet or way of eating, or "lifestyle change" if you will, will keep me fit for the rest of my life?
Another question occurs to me... why is cheap food no good for you? Why do you have to spend yourself into the poor house to get good food? I would think if my wallet was on a diet, my fat intake would be on a diet too!
Well here is what I believe to be the straight dope (please research this for yourself), fad diets (read a temporary diet) do not last. If you are willing to buy food from the diet provider for life, you will have a good chance of keeping the weight off. This is because it takes a supreme effort to change your habits (eating in this case) and then to try and permanently change your habits again (to keep the wight off for life) is not realistic. It is far easier to transition to a plan that you like (a plan of your doing) that you will likely stick with for the long haul!
Think of weight-loss like any other goal in life you have achieved... and then go do it.
